The 17 state-owned museums (Museo Arqueológico Nacional, Sorolla, Cerralbo and others in Madrid; Escultura in Valladolid; Greco and Sefardí in Toledo; Arqueología Subacuática in Cartagena; Arte Romano in Mérida; Cerámica in Valencia; Altamira in Santillana del Mar; Teatro in Almagro) are free for everyone on 18 April, 18 May, 12 October and 6 December (Orden ECD/868/2015, art. 5.2). In addition, each museum designates at least four free days a month (one per week), different at each centre: check them on the website of the individual museum.
